In 2022, the RB BOD VBSP in the provinces and districts, towns and cities effectively implemented assigned political tasks, allocated policy credit capital to districts, towns and cities to meet the loan needs of beneficiaries, thereby actively contributing to poverty reduction, job creation and social security in the area.
Total credit capital plan of VBSP Binh Duong branch is more than 4,215 billion VND, up 229 billion VND compared to the beginning of the year. Loan sales reached 2,028 billion VND, with 32,376 loans from customers, an increase of 456 billion 453 million VND compared to the same period last year. Total outstanding loans as of December 31, 2022 reached 4,147 billion VND, with 81,028 customers still outstanding, an increase of 191 billion VND (up 4.8%) compared to the beginning of the year.
The program for employers to borrow loans to pay salaries for work stoppage and production restoration which was implemented from July 2021 and finished disbursing from April 05, 2022, disbursed to 223 turns of employers worked with an amount of more than 541 billion VND to pay salaries for 124,103 turns of employees (ranked 3rd in the country).
Implementing the lending program in accordance with Resolution 11/NQ-CP dated January 30, 2022 on the Socio-economic recovery and development program and implementing the National Assembly's Resolution 43/2022/QH15 on fiscal and monetary policies to support the Program, the provincial VBSP disbursed 132 billion 079 million VND, reaching 79% of the plan.
Along with credit growth, credit quality continued to be maintained stably. The VBSP system in the locality has regularly coordinated with entrusting organizations, local authorities and relevant units to drastically and synchronously implement solutions to strengthen and improve credit quality in the locality.
Overview of the meeting
In 2023, the RB BOD VBSP at all levels continues to well implement the Resolutions of the BOD VBSP, advise the PPC to implement the Central Government's directives on strengthening the Party's leadership in social policy credit. The focus is on advising to remove difficulties in the local capital entrustment mechanism to supplement capital sources for the implementation of social policy credit programs, striving to entrust local capital to reach 100% of the plan. The provincial VBSP continues to effectively implement programs for lending to poor households and other policy beneficiaries, lending to support job creation, job maintenance and expansion; purchase, lease-purchase of social housing, housing for workers; student loans.
Concluding the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha agreed with the proposal of the provincial VBSP on transferring the entrusted capital to the program on loans for poor households, near-poor households, and social housing loans from 2022 to 2023. Assigning provincial VBSP to preside, and coordinate with relevant branches and units to develop a plan to use entrusted capital from the provincial budget to lend to policy credit programs for the 2023-2025 period and submit it to the PPC for consideration and approval. The Department of Finance presides and advises the PPC, to submit to the Provincial People's Council additional expenditure estimates for the plan of entrusted capital from the provincial budget to lend to poor households and other policy beneficiaries for the 2023-2025 period, contributing to creating livelihoods for the disadvantaged, ensuring social security in the locality.
