Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Commission for Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh - Vice Chairman of PPC and leaders of departments, committees, branches and localities.
At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Transport and the Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board reported on the progress, difficulties and obstacles in the process of project implementation.
This is a national key project, so departments and branches have proposed urgent solutions to speed up site clearance, shorten the process of making feasibility study report and implementation steps of component project 5 (selection of contractors, consulting units, technical design - cost estimates, selection of construction contractors, consultants, insurance; division of bidding packages, etc.) in an effort to ensure project progress under the direction of the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
The Ho Chi Minh City's Ring Road No. 3 project has a total length of 76.34km passing through Ho Chi Minh City and 03 provinces of Dong Nai, Binh Duong, and Long An. The scale of the complete phase is 08 lanes of expressway, 100km/h expressway, and parallel roads on both sides (urban roads with 02-03 lanes) of 60km/h urban highway. Total project investment is about 75,378 billion VND.
The Ring Road No. 3 going through Binh Duong province is about 26.6km long, including component project 5: Construction of Ring Road No. 3, section through Binh Duong province (including intersection of Tan Van and Binh Goi bridge) and component project 6: Compensation and resettlement support for Ring Road No. 3, section through Binh Duong province. Total investment is about 19,280 billion VND, of which construction project is 5,752 billion VND and compensation and resettlement support project is 13,528 billion VND. Total land acquisition area is about 85.86ha with about 1,600 households and organizations affected.
The project is expected to be basically completed in 2025 and put into operation from 2026.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Mr. Mai Hung Dung asked departments, committees and branches to make efforts to speed up the project implementation steps, however, it must be sure and consistent with legal regulations. The project implementation time is very urgent, the departments, branches and localities need to coordinate well in the implementation of the bidding plan, completing the timelines set out in the plan; the compensation and clearance must be associated with resettlement; quickly submitted for approval the land price plan and the plan for compensation, support and resettlement.
