The meeting reviewed the content of the draft Proposals: Implementation plan of the Government's Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP dated January 06, 2023 on the main tasks and solutions to implement the socio-economic development plan; state budget estimate and improvement of the business environment and national competitiveness in 2023; regulating land price adjustment coefficient (K) in 2023; housing development plan in Binh Duong province in 2023; stipulating criteria for ensuring requirements for natural disaster prevention and control for projects and houses owned by households in Binh Duong province.
Overview of the Meeting
In 2023, it is forecast that the global economic - political situation will continue to face many difficulties, adversely affecting the recovery of the world economy. To complete the socio-economic development plan in 2023, the PPC requested departments, committees, branches and mass organizations at all levels to proactively adapt flexibly, innovate and be effective with 06 key tasks. Specifically, focusing on effectively implementing Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW dated October 07, 2022 of the Politburo on socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in the Southeast region to 2030, vision to 2045, and Resolutions, action programs to implement the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress. Further accelerating the process of socio-economic recovery and development, promoting growth on the basis of digital transformation and the digital economy, and ensuring great balances of the economy.
Accelerating economic restructuring in association with renovating the growth model, improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness, and enhancing the resilience of the economy.
Improving the business environment, promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and effectively participating in regional and global value chains. Promoting the implementation of support solutions, encouraging enterprises to innovate technology.
Building synchronous infrastructure, continuing to focus on investing in upgrading and developing socio-economic infrastructure, prioritizing appropriate resources for areas such as traffic, urban embellishment, public water supply and drainage, education, and healthcare.
Increasing the mobilization and effective use of investment resources of the economy; developing collective economy and the private economy. Consolidating and strengthening national defense and security; maintaining political security, social order and safety. Drastically implementing effectively the Project on developing the application of population database, e-identification and e-authentication for national digital transformation in the 2022-2025 period, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06).
The PPC Chairman Vo Van Minh concludes the meeting
Concluding speech at the meeting, Mr. Vo Van Minh emphasized that 2023 is the pivotal year to implement the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress, 2020 - 2025 tenure and five-year socio-economic development plan (2021-2025), the PPC Chairman requested all levels, branches and mass organizations to maintain the spirit of overcoming difficulties, solidarity, self-reliance, self-strengthening, proactive adaptation, flexible innovation and effective implementation of assigned tasks.
The PPC Chairman also agreed on the contents of the Proposals, and at the same time asked the drafting units to absorb the delegates' opinions to complete the document and submit it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council for consideration. The PPC Chairman noted that all levels, branches and localities must continue to ensure social security, take care of the lives of workers, the poor, and ensure security and order on the occasion before, during and after Tet, etc.
