At the meeting, Mr. Preben Enef informed provincial leaders about the progress of the Group's project to build a factory of more than 1 billion USD in Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III). On behalf of the Group's leaders, he thanked the Binh Duong provincial government for creating all favorable conditions for LEGO Group to implement the project. In order for the Group to put the factory into operation in June 2024 on schedule, Mr. Preben Enef wished the Binh Duong provincial government and VSIP III to quickly complete the land procedures and create all conditions for the Group to deploy the project as soon as possible. In addition, the problems of connecting to the 110kv grid, deploying solar power are also issues the company cares about and wants the province to support.
In a friendly atmosphere, he said that he had celebrated Christmas and New Year 2023 in Vietnam and will also celebrate the Lunar New Year in Vietnam in the coming time. He was very excited about the atmosphere of the year's last days and the cultural beauty of Vietnamese people during Tet. He sent his best wishes for the New Year to the Binh Duong provincial leaders and people, and believed that LEGO's project would be implemented more smoothly and successfully in the near future.

Thanks to LEGO Group for choosing Binh Duong to build the factory, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh pledged that the Binh Duong provincial government will actively coordinate with the Group to take the next steps for the project to be implemented smoothly. He suggested the functional branches continue to monitor and regularly organize meetings with the Group to remove obstacles in order to speed up the project progress, especially the land use rights for the Group. Mr. Vo Van Minh requested that right after the meeting today, at the earliest, tomorrow afternoon (January 13), the departments and branches have a meeting with LEGO Group to solve all difficulties and problems that the Group is facing. Binh Duong is making every effort to get the LEGO Group into operation soon.
The PPC Chairman committed that the Binh Duong provincial government would always accompany, listen to the aspirations, and support investors to remove difficulties for effective investment and production activities; make positive contributions to the province's sustainable development in the coming time.

In December 2021, LEGO Group (Denmark)
signed a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park
(VSIP) Joint Venture Company Limited to invest 1 billion USD to build a factory
in Binh Duong. This is the largest high-tech project since the Covid-19
pandemic invested in Binh Duong. The project uses renewable energy, solar
energy and emissions of international standards, so it has a very positive
impact on the environment and ecosystem. On March 19, 2022 at the Groundbreaking
ceremony of VSIP III, investment license was awarded to LEGO Group. On November
03, 2022, LEGO Group (Denmark) started construction of a factory in
Vietnam-Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III).
