At the meeting, Mr. Anthony Goins shared that he wishes to promote cooperation with Vietnam in production during this business trip. The total value of GDP from manufacturing to Nebraska's economy is 170 billion USD, 2nd only to agriculture. This is a huge value brought by high-tech manufacturing. Therefore, the State of Nebraska wants high-tech manufacturing to be applied in Vietnam. The State also wishes to cooperate with Vietnamese localities and partners in education such as student training and human resource exchange.
Overview of the meeting
Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung said that Binh Duong has an area of about 2,600 square kilometers and a population of 2.5 million people. Currently, there are about 4,000 foreign enterprises investing in the province, with an investment capital of about 40 billion USD. The United States is ranked 10th with projects with outstanding high-tech application characteristics, environmental protection, and law compliance. Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung thanked Nebraska State for the ideas for Binh Duong. Binh Duong government always encourages and supports foreign enterprises to invest in the province. Regarding education, Binh Duong always wishes to cooperate with universities around the world to meet the needs for high-quality labor resources for enterprises. In order for the cooperation intentions to become a reality, in the coming time, the two sides will take the next steps to promote the relationship between Binh Duong and Nebraska to develop more.
