At the meeting, Mr. Preben Enef informed the provincial leaders about the progress of the Group's factory construction project of more than 1 billion USD in Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III). Up to now, the project is being implemented according to the set plan, the Group's leaders are very satisfied with the project in Vietnam. On behalf of the Group's leaders, he thanked the Binh Duong provincial government for creating all conditions for LEGO to implement the project. The Group committed to put the factory into operation in June 2024 on schedule to create jobs for thousands of workers in Binh Duong. He also said that the Group's revenue in 2022 achieved positive results. He believed that the factory in Vietnam will come into operation effectively and hoped that Binh Duong provincial leaders will continue to create all conditions for the Group to implement the project.

Thanks to LEGO Group for choosing Binh Duong as the place to invest in building the factory, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi pledged that the Binh Duong provincial government will actively coordinate with the Group to take the next steps for the project to be implemented smoothly. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also informed more about the socio-economic situation in 2022 of Binh Duong province, in which the province's foreign investment attraction continued to achieve outstanding results. Transport infrastructure connecting the region has been specially built by the province. The projects of Ring Road no. 3 and Ring Road no. 4 will start construction in 2023, and the upgrading and expansion of the DT746 Road (the road passing through VSIP III) is also being implemented by the province. As reported by the provincial portal, on November 03, 2022, at VSIP III, LEGO Group (Denmark) held a groundbreaking ceremony for a factory worth more than 1 billion USD. This will be LEGO's 6th factory in the world and 2nd in Asia with the expectation that it will help LEGO expand LEGO's global supply chain network, thereby flexibly and quickly responding to changing consumer needs in each region. The factory, when put into operation, will contribute to creating jobs for more than 4,000 workers.
