At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh said that Khanh Hoa's strength is developing tourism and marine economy. However, industrial development and foreign investment attraction are still limited, not commensurate with the potential of the province.
Currently, Khanh Hoa has 04 industrial parks, of which 02 industrial parks have been put into operation. The operation of industrial parks in Khanh Hoa in recent years has not attracted many secondary projects. Existing projects focus on a number of fields such as seafood processing, garment, mechanical engineering, etc.; the implementation progress of some large-scale and dynamic projects is still slow or stopped.
On the other hand, when heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the development of tourism faced many difficulties, directly affecting the socio-economic situation of Khanh Hoa. Therefore, the province is focusing on investment, industrial development and restructuring the spearhead tourism economy in combination with industrial development and investment attraction; thereby opening a new development period for Khanh Hoa.

Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that Khanh Hoa plans to add 10 new industrial parks, of which 07 are located in Van Phong economic zone. He highly appreciated the achievements and development potential of Binh Duong province, especially in the fields of industry, urban areas and investment attraction. He wished to exchange and learn from Binh Duong's experience to help Khanh Hoa develop more sustainably and strongly.
Besides introducing the strengths and specific conditions of Khanh Hoa province, the delegation proposed the province to consider policies for Becamex IDC Corp to research and develop industrial parks in accordance with the province's development orientation. At the same time, participating with the province in zoning planning and transport infrastructure development.
In the coming time, Khanh Hoa hoped that Binh Duong will pay attention to and support industrial development and share experiences in inviting and promoting foreign investment.

Sharing with the delegation, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoang Thao affirmed that Binh Duong has always ranked first in the country for many years in attracting foreign investment. Up to now, the province has attracted 4,079 projects and total registered investment capital of more than 39.6 billion USD; and is one of the localities in the group with high growth rates of the country.
Achieving those results, Binh Duong has made efforts to implement the tasks and solutions consistently and throughout with the policy of "Spreading flower mat to invite investment" and "Rolling out red carpet to invite talents". In order to well implement that policy, Binh Duong has focused on developing socio-economic infrastructure and considers this a key task, a breakthrough to attract development investment; promoted reform of administrative procedures, building of e-Government, digital transformation and building of smart city.

At the same time, the province also focuses on synchronously implementing policies and solutions to develop human resources, especially high-quality human resources; well performs the maintenance and expansion of cooperation relationships with localities at home and abroad; actively develops and effectively implements investment promotion and attraction programs; ensures the security and social welfare, etc.
