At the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh congratulated Mr. Lee Jang Woo on being elected Mayor of Daejeon City. At the same time, he highly appreciated the cooperation relationship between the two localities during the past time. Chairman of the PPC said that Binh Duong province and Daejeon City have established a friendly cooperative relationship since 2005. Over the past time, the two sides have sent many delegations of leaders to visit and work in Binh Duong and Korea; 11 delegations of students from the two localities came to exchange and experience culture in Binh Duong and Daejeon City. In particular, in 2018, Binh Duong province coordinated with Daejeon City and the World Technopolis Association (WTA) to organize the 11th session of the WTA General Assembly and activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of WTA in Binh Duong province.
