According to the report, in 2020 and 2021, the Appraisal Council conducted an appraisal of the documents and conducted a practical survey of the implementation results of the criteria of advanced new-style rural areas for 12 communes in Bac Tan Uyen, Phu Giao, and Dau Tieng districts. Specifically, Dat Cuoc and An Lac communes (Bac Tan Uyen district); Tan Hiep, An Thai and Tan Long communes (Phu Giao district); Long Nguyen, Lai Hung and Cay Truong II communes (Bau Bang district); Dinh An, Long Tan, Minh Hoa and Minh Tan communes (Dau Tieng district).
Through the review and appraisal, 12 communes basically achieved 19/19 criteria, 43/43 indicators of advanced new-style rural areas according to the province's Criteria set for advanced new-style rural areas. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the Appraisal Council to recognize 11 communes meeting the standards of advanced new-style rural areas in 2020 and consider giving comments to Long Tan commune (Dau Tieng) because in 2020 this commune has not yet maintained the indicator of communes meeting the standards of legal access as prescribed by the Provincial People's Committee.
Through discussion of the Appraisal Council's members, Mr. Mai Hung Dung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed to propose the Provincial People's Committee to recognize 11 communes meeting the standards of rural areas, while Long Tan commune (Dau Tieng district) tries to overcome unsatisfactory criteria for consideration in the following year.
