PORTAL - That is the direction of Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the online meeting between the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the districts, towns and cities on the morning of March 04, at the Administrative Center of Binh Duong province.

Educational institutions take the initiative in teaching and learning plans

As reported by the Department of Health, in the past 7 days (from February 25, 2022 to March 03, 2022), the province had 6,388 new cases (through PCR test, up 242.5% compared to last week); on average, 913 new cases were announced every day.

In the past few days, the number of Covid-19 cases has continuously increased higher than last week. The reason for the increase is due to the need for travel, while the entire country is gradually reopening activities, schools in the area have allowed students to go for face-to-face learning, and companies have gradually opened to welcome workers back to work, leading to an increase in people infected with Covid-19.

Weekly assessment and update of pandemic level: 64 communes and wards at level 1 and 21 communes and wards at level 2; Tan Hung commune and Lai Uyen town of Bau Bang district belong to level 3. The assessment of pandemic level in the entire province is level 2.

According to the Department of Health, although the number of Covid-19 cases increases, the number of deaths decreases, the treatment is positive, mainly at home. Therefore, the Department of Health recommended that localities continue to maintain and strengthen mobile medical stations to support F0 treatment at home.

The number of patients for collection and treatment in the unvaccinated group is 5,603 cases, including 5,538 children under 12 years old. Thereby, it can be seen the role and importance of vaccination in the pandemic prevention and control.

Delegates discuss at the meeting

Currently, the number of children infected with Covid-19 is increasing rapidly, in order to be able to treat and take good care of children, the Department of Health assigned the Provincial General Hospital to organize a quick training course for Medical centers of districts, towns and cities. The Department of Health suggested that the Department of Education and Training and the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control of districts, towns and cities base on the pandemic situation of their localities to actively allow students to study face-to-face or online as prescribed.

Compared with the beginning of face-to-face learning, the number of F0 cases has increased rapidly in schools. Compared with the beginning of face-to-face learning, the number of F0 cases has increased rapidly in schools. Currently, the attendance rate at Kindergarten is 81%, Primary School 85%, Secondary School 92%, High School 88%, and Continuing Education 94%. Through the survey, 94% of parents agree that students can learn face-to-face. Through the proposals of educational institutions and on the basis of the assessment of the province's pandemic level, the Education branch proposed to maintain face-to-face learning in areas of levels 1, 2; from areas of level 3, organizing online learning. At the same time, assigning educational institutions to, based on the actual situation, flexibly change the status when there are abnormal situations. Current difficulties of educational institutions are the lack of test kits, funding for medical equipment, disinfection and sterilization; therefore the districts and towns are requested to support.

Mobilizing all solutions to complete 3rd doses of vaccine

Accumulated up to now, the province has injected nearly 6 million doses of vaccine. In which, 346,220 doses for children aged 12-17 years old; 5,642,327 doses for people 18 years old and older. According to the assessment of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the rate of 3rd vaccination is still low with 1,166,482 doses (54% compared to 2nd dose). Vaccination rates by locality may not be accurate because specific population data are not available; it is not possible to separate vaccination data of each locality. The vaccination rate of the 2nd and 3rd doses of the localities is not high despite great efforts to deploy, the initial cause is due to the population mobility situation. Most localities have a high rate of 1st vaccination (>100%) because the pandemic situation in Binh Duong is well controlled, so people from other places come to get vaccination a lot.

Tan Uyen Town is carrying out a general review of the 2nd and 3rd vaccinations available at the locality, in companies and factories to grasp specific data and deploy definitive vaccination. At the same time, preparing a list of vaccinations for children aged 5-11 years old when there is a policy.

Mr. Nguyen Trong An - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ben Cat town said that the rate of children vaccinated from 12 to 17 years old with the first dose of the town reached 100%; 3,204 children have not been vaccinated the 2nd dose, in which many parents have not agreed to give the vaccination, many children are F0, the communes and wards are urgently vaccinating, which is expected to be completed by March 15, 2022. The town has directed communes and wards to review and grasp the unvaccinated data, maintain fixed vaccination sites, and aggressively deploy all solutions to quickly complete the 3rd dose vaccination. At the same time, developing a vaccination plan for children aged 5-11 years old, actively purchasing medical equipment for pandemic prevention and control.
