The sides agreed to establish the Vietnam-Singapore Industry 4.0 Innovation Center (VSIIC) at Eastern International University (EIU) with partners Singapore Polytechnic International and the Smart i4.0 Transformation Alliance (SiTA) of Singapore. The establishment of this center demonstrates the commitment of Becamex IDC, VSIP and EIU in accompanying enterprises on the journey of industrial transformation 4.0. Through cooperation with Singapore's leading partners in the field of training, promotion and technology transfer in manufacturing, the center is established with the vision to accelerate the application of technology and improve Vietnam's competitiveness as a manufacturing hub in Asia. VSIIC will play an important role in the industrial manufacturing ecosystem, in training the future-ready workforce and promoting the transformation and continuous upgrading of the manufacturing enterprise with comprehensive operations: Education and training, research and development, technology introduction, readiness assessment and consulting to help enterprises adopt the right technology solutions that improve productivity and business management processes of the enterprises.
Becamex IDC, VSIP, EIU sign cooperation agreements with Singaporean partners under the witness of President Nguyen Xuan Phuc
At the same time, also within the framework of this visit to Singapore by President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, EIU and Sembcorp signed a memorandum of cooperation with the goal of promoting sustainable development solutions to support the transition to clean energy in Vietnam and develop human resources for the industry. The Sembcorp EIU Sustainability Center (SESC) was established to promote capacity building for students and teaching staff through a practical, relevant environment for the solar industry. This partnership will provide an opportunity to jointly undertake industry-related research projects and commercial implementation of the technology. Activities will help raise awareness about the application of technology and innovation for sustainable development in enterprises.
