Speaking at the Opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Khoa Hai - Director of Binh Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said that the K-Culture & Content Festival 2022 in Binh Duong province is an important event in a series of activities between Binh Duong province and Korean localities and partners aiming to celebrate diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea after 30 years of establishment. This is a valuable opportunity for people working, living and studying in Binh Duong to have access to interesting activities in Korean culture. Through this series of events, Binh Duong continues to affirm its position as a destination and become the center of the Korean investment wave when maintaining investment promotion activities, economic cooperation combined with the organization of Korean cultural festivals in the province. The K-Culture & Content Festival 2022 in Binh Duong includes the following activities: Korean Cultural Exhibition from February 25-27, 2022; K-POP art performance with Vietnamese and Korean artists and singers taking place on the evening of February 27, 2022. In particular, on the night of February 27, 2022, closing 3 days of Korean cultural and content experience is the "Korea - Vietnam OST" Concert. The performance will be hosted by NICKY, a singer cum MC, and many famous Korean and Vietnamese singers will appear and perform OSTs of popular Korean dramas and movies in Korean and Vietnamese as: JUSTB, Super V, Huong Duyen, Trung Quan Idol, Van Mai Huong. At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City Taekwondo Demonstration Team will perform the opening Taekwondo on the background of K-POP music to bring a great entertainment experience to the audience.
At the ceremony, KOCCA Vietnam and Binh Duong New City World Trade Center signed a Memorandum of agreement on cooperation in promoting cultural exhibitions, cultural exchange conferences, K-POP performances and other event activities; planning and organizing annual events together to promote the content development industry in Binh Duong province in particular and Vietnam in general; at the same time, promoting cultural exchange activities and jointly developing new cooperation between Korea and Vietnam.
