At the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Loi gave a speech to review the glorious journey of the Communist Party of Vietnam through its 92 years of foundation. Since its foundation until now, the Communist Party of Vietnam has properly combined the struggle goals of the workers' and patriotic movements, class interests and national interests, being truly the leading vanguard of the working class, the working people and the Vietnamese nation. Under the ingenious leadership of the Party, the Vietnamese people steadfastly fought for glorious victories in two resistance wars against the French colonialists and the American imperialists, bringing the country to complete independence, freedom, and reunification, and the entire country moving up to socialism. During the re-innovation Doi Moi (renewal) implementation stage, the Party set out a suitable line to bring our country out of poverty and underdevelopment, the people's material and spiritual life has been continuously improved, and our country's position and prestige in the international arena has been significantly improved.

In harmony with the historical flow of the entire country, the Party organization in Binh Duong has continuously grown, demonstrating bravery, intelligence, dynamism, sensitivity and being trusted and loved by the people. During 25 years of construction and development, Binh Duong has transformed, rising to become a province with high speed of industrialization and urbanization in the Southern Key Economic Region. Particularly in 2021, despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the province's economy still achieved positive growth (2.62%) and GDP per capita reached 152 million VND/person/year, and was assessed by the Central Government as the locality with the highest per capita income in the country. Binh Duong was honored by the Intelligent Community Forum as one of 7 communities with typical smart city development strategies in the world. Those achievements are crystallized products from the spirit of solidarity, unity, creativity and renewal; are the result of a whole process of persistent and continuous efforts over many tenures of generations of leaders, the political system, the political system, the enterprise community and the people in the province.
