Visiting Wanek Company, which currently has 5 factories in Binh Duong with more than 8,000 workers, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue assessed, Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular have experienced a difficult year due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Binh Duong is one of the localities of the country that is heavily affected by the pandemic, especially enterprises and workers are affected the most. The National Assembly Chairman highly appreciated the proactive response to the pandemic situation of enterprises in the province, including Wanek Company. At the same time, he said, on the occasion of the Nham Dan Lunar New Year 2022, localities across the country have organized many activities to take care of workers, especially workers who stay to celebrate Tet. Sharing difficulties with enterprises, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue informed that Vietnam has actively vaccinated its people; so far, Vietnam is one of the six countries with the highest vaccination rate in the world. In the coming time, localities will continue to carry out additional doses for subjects and develop a plan to vaccinate against Covid-19 for children aged 5 years and older.
Regarding the proposals of Wanek Company related to the export of goods and creating conditions for experts to return to Vietnam to work, the National Assembly Chairman noted and said that in the coming time, Vietnam will strengthen its cooperation strategy with countries around the world to remove difficulties for enterprises in exporting goods. At the same time, he added, at the last Meeting, the National Assembly approved a policy package to support economic recovery worth about 350,000 billion VND for subjects, including enterprises, workers and and employers. The National Assembly and the Government are committed to effectively implementing this policy package.
The National Assembly Chairman also suggested that Binh Duong provincial government and Trade unions at all levels build a harmonious and stable labor relationship.

Thanking the leadership delegation of the National Assembly and Binh Duong province to visit the Company, Mr. Andrew Michael Lien - General Director of Asia Manufacturing at Wanek Company said that although being affected by the Covid-19 situation in 2021, with the support of the Binh Duong province government, the Company has carried out production and business according to the model of "3 on-the-spot", "1 road, 2 locations", the Company workers have been vaccinated with 2 full doses of vaccine and will get additional doses in the coming time. Currently, the Company is expanding its bonded warehouse in VSIP II with a total investment of 140 million USD.
On this occasion, the National Assembly Chairman gave 50 gifts to disadvantaged workers of the Company, each gift included 1 million VND in cash and gifts.
