​Generalizing some outstanding socio-economic features of Binh Duong during the past time, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh said that Binh Duong always promotes its spirit of dynamism, initiative and creativity and has achieved many development achievements over the past time. In 2021, despite being heavily affected by the pandemic, the province's socio-economic development still had stable growth and had bright spots in a number of areas. Up to now, the province has controlled the pandemic and is transitioning to a safe, flexible and effective adaptation of the Covid-19 pandemic for economic recovery and development; at the same time, continues to accelerate reform of administrative procedures, improve the investment environment, and remove difficulties for enterprises.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his pleasure and appreciated the cooperation programs between EuroCham and Binh Duong as well as the potential from European enterprises in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, mechanics, etc. At the same time, he emphasized, the province always identifies cooperation with EuroCham members as a top priority in the development process. In the coming time, Binh Duong hopes EuroCham will continue to help and share experiences in developing green economy, circular economy, environmental protection, financial services, energy, logistics, etc.

Appreciating the efforts of the Vietnamese Government to control the Covid-19 pandemic in general and Binh Duong in particular, Mr. Jean-Jacques Bouflet believed in the development of Binh Duong province in the coming time. He said that although the Covid-19 pandemic has had a heavy impact on Binh Duong, currently, most European enterprises in the province have resumed operations. He affirmed, Binh Duong is one of the three most important localities in EuroCham's cooperation in Viet Nam. EuroCham members are willing to share experiences with Binh Duong in areas of strength and hope that in the near future, the two sides will jointly support the recovery of production, increase cooperation capacity and develop the economy.
