At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Van Minh welcomed the delegation to visit and work in Binh Duong. Providing information with the Delegation about the socio-economic development situation in 2021, the Covid-19 control, sharing the potential, orientation for economic recovery and development of the province in the new situation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Binh Duong has built a development plan for safe, flexible adaptation and effective control over the Covid-19 pandemic, focusing on making good use of opportunities to promote socio-economic recovery and development. Currently, the US has invested in 128 projects in Binh Duong with a total investment capital of more than 911 million USD. Over the past time, the provincial government has always made efforts to accompany and create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to restore production and maintain the supply chain through dialogue sessions, contact with Associations, enterprises, including holding a Webinar with American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), attending the Conference entitled "Meet the USA: Partnering for reopening, recovery and rebound in the Southern Economic Region" in order to listen to and promptly solve difficulties and problems, create favorable conditions for US investors and enterprises to operate effectively in production and business.

Mr. Chad Ovel said that AmCham representatives and US enterprises highly appreciated Binh Duong's efforts in pandemic prevention and control, at the same time, thanked Binh Duong province for always creating the best conditions for US enterprises to feel secure in their long-term production and business locally. Mr. Chad Ovel expressed his belief in the economic development of Binh Duong province in the coming time. He also discussed issues related to vaccination, Covid-19 prevention and control activities; recommended issues to support the recovery process, sustainable economic development and wished to establish an AmCham center in Binh Duong in the near future.
On behalf of the province's leaders, Mr. Vo Van Minh affirmed, Binh Duong will always create the best conditions for enterprises, including US enterprises, to feel secure in their long-term production and business locally. The province will continue to maintain regular dialogue channels with the enterprise community at home and abroad, in order to timely adjust policies in line with the development interests of the locality and the legitimate interests of the enterprise community in the province.
