PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee approved the housing development plan in Binh Duong province for the 2021-2025 period.
Accordingly, the objective of the Plan is to continue to improve the quality of housing, to meet the housing needs of all population groups, especially policy beneficiaries as defined in Article 49 of the Law on Housing. Developing housing in the direction of green, modern construction, environmental protection, contributing to promoting the province's socio-economic development, towards smart urban development. Specific targets: The average housing area of the entire province is 31.5 m2/person (minimum housing area 10.0 m2/person), of which, the urban area is 32.5 m2/person, rural area is 26.6 m2/person. Raising the rate of permanent housing in the province to 65.0%, reducing the rate of unstable housing to 0.5%, etc. According to the general direction of the Provincial Party Committee, striving to develop 1 million housing for workers and employees in the 2021-2025 period and orientation to 2030. In 2025, it is expected that the average housing area per capita of the whole province will reach 31.5 m2, of which the urban area is 32.5 m2, the rural area is 26.6 m2. At the same time, the total additional construction floor area of commercial housing and self-build residential housing across the province in the 2021-2025 period is about 25.3 million m2 (in which: 9.7 million m2 of commercial housing floor, 11.5 million m2 of self-build residential housing floor and 4.10 million m2 of social housing and relocation housing floor). Regarding the expected increase in the residential land fund, in the 2021-2025 period, the residential land area is expected to increase by 1,600 ha, of which: The construction of commercial housing projects is about 613.0 ha; construction of self-build residential housing is 728.0 ha; the development of relocation housing and social housing projects is about 259.1 ha.
Thus, the demand for residential land necessary for housing construction in the 2021-2025 period is about 1,600 ha (average of about 320 ha/year).
