​PORTAL - The Department of Health has issued a plan to deploy the 93rd phase of Covid-19 vaccination for children aged 12-17 in Binh Duong province in 2021.

Specifically, the 2nd injection for students in grade 8 of Thu Dau Mot City, Tan Uyen Town, Ben Cat Town and grade 9 students in public and non-public secondary schools (if the parents agree and sign the commitment). At the same time, vaccination for students aged 12-17 years old in the community, if the 1st dose has not been given, and the 2nd dose when the time is from 3 to 4 weeks.

Organize the campaign simultaneously on December 2 – 4, 2021. Vaccination of subjects with underlying disease on December 5, 2021. The vaccine used is Pfizer, which is approved by the Ministry of Health for use in aged 12-17 years old, according to the instructions of the manufacturer and the Ministry of Health. In which, 39,401 doses of the 2nd injection are distributed to students in schools; 19,099 doses of 1 and 2 injections for students 12-17 years old in the community.

Schools invite and mobilize subjects (according to the previously registered list) to vaccinate according to the time frames of the day to ensure the criteria for disease prevention and control and minimize the waste of vaccines.
