Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung informed about the socio-economic situation and foreign investment attraction in Binh Duong province. Accordingly, in the first 10 months of 2021, Binh Duong has attracted 64 new projects, 24 capital adjustment projects and 161 investment projects in the form of capital contribution and share purchase with a total registered investment capital of more than 2 billion USD. Up to now, the province has 4,011 foreign investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total registered capital of 37 billion USD, in which, Italian enterprises have 08 investment projects with a capital of 63.8 million USD. Binh Duong is currently ranked 2nd in the country in attracting foreign investment after Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, Binh Duong also has many solutions to restrain and control the Covid-19 pandemic, so far, Binh Duong has returned to the new normal, more than 90% of enterprises have resumed operations. Binh Duong province's government always accompanies and supports enterprises to overcome difficulties during the past time, especially during the 4th pandemic wave. Mr. Enrico Padula congratulated Binh Duong on joining prestigious organizations in the world.
