Promoting the implementation of the Law on Support for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises

​PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee directs the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with relevant units based on the contents of Official Dispatch no. 1590/TTg-DMDN dated November 18, 2021 of the Prime Minister on promoting the implementation of the Law on Supporting Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises to advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize the realization.

Specifically, localities give priority to allocating resources to promote the effective implementation of approved contents, programs, plans and schemes to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accordance with regulations of the Law on Supporting SMEs; renovating the operating model of the SME Credit Guarantee Fund; improving the operation quality of enterprise consulting and support units; strengthening coordination with organizations and enterprise associations to support SMEs to develop effectively and sustainably. Socio-political organizations, social organizations, and enterprise associations coordinate in implementing the state's support contents in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Support for SMEs.

SMEs actively learn and access information about SME support programs, schemes and plans of ministries, central branches, associations and localities to propose support needs in accordance with the needs of the enterprise. Increasing investment and application of information technology; improving the quality and level of corporate governance; perfecting the production process, improving product quality to meet the supply chain participation standards of major partners, especially the ability to participate in the global supply chain. Actively participating in enterprise associations to access information on policies and programs to support SMEs of the State as well as credit institutions. At the same time, learning and participating in training courses to capture information, take full advantage of the Free Trade Agreements that Vietnam has signed to diversify export markets and alternative supply sources in the context of the world being severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
