The two sides discussed the situation of electricity supply and investment in the construction of power grid projects in Binh Duong province. According to the Southern Power Corporation, in the first nine months of 2021, commercial electricity output in Binh Duong province is 10,618 million kWh, reaching 71.6% of the 2021 plan, up 3% over the same period in 2020.
In 2021, Southern Power Corporation deploys 48 110kV grid projects in Binh Duong province. However, in the process of implementation, some difficulties and problems were encountered in the planning of electrical works; compensation for site clearance takes a long time, affecting the investment progress, etc.
At the meeting, the representative of Southern Power Corporation proposed to Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches to support the implementation of 19 power grid projects, specifically: The 110kV 2-circuit line from the 220kV Uyen Hung station turning forward on the 110kV Phu Giao - Tri An Hydropower line; 110kV Cong Xanh station and connecting lines, 110kV feeders of 220kV Ben Cat substation; 110kV Ascendas substation and 110kV An Tay - Ascendas line; 110kV line connecting to 110kV Cheng Loong station, etc. At the same time, proposing some contents of relocation of the existing power grid to serve the upgrading of transport infrastructure; investing in the power grid and selling electricity in industrial parks invested by Becamex IDC Corporation.
