During the day, collecting 889 patients; 17 patients died. Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 220,480 cases of Covid-19; 2,151 deaths.
Currently, there are 21,631 patients being treated. In which, treatment at home: 2,586 patients, treatment facilities: 19,045 patients.
The entire province has 876 lockdown areas, including: Thuan An: 247; Phu Giao: 8; Di An: 211; Dau Tieng: 4; Ben Cat: 211; Tan Uyen: 102, Bac Tan Uyen: 7; Thu Dau Mot: 93, with 64,148 people in the lockdown areas.
The province has carried out the 2nd phase of large-scale testing until now (from August 02, 2021 to present). As a result, localities took samples for rapid test and PCR for 10,849,311 turns of people, with 175,342 positive cases (rate of 1.62%). The Provincial Center for Disease Control took PCR samples for 139,025 workers at 173 companies in industrial parks, with 435 positive cases.
Cumulatively, the province has vaccinated 2,703,484 doses/4,381,350 doses of the distributed Covid-19 vaccine (2,176,600 1st doses and 526,884 2nd doses).
On October 8, 2021, Binh Duong supported 33,602 cases, with the amount of VND 96,026 billion. Accumulated, support has been spent for 3,528,030 turns of people, with an amount of VND 2,220,249 billion.
The province has established 169 Mobile Medical Stations, including 21 Mobile Medical Stations in industrial zones and clusters.
