​Over the past time, the Covid-19 pandemic has seriously affected all aspects of life, including education and training activities. Schools have to close, students and teachers have to change to online teaching and learning. Meanwhile, many families cannot afford to buy online learning facilities and equipment for students. According to statistics of the Binh Duong Department of Education and Training, as of September 22, there were more than 374,000 students learning online, of which more than 60,000 students lacked equipment to study.

Responding to the call of the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Ministry of Education and Training and with the consent of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front calls on the people, officials, soldiers, organizations, agencies and enterprises to continue promoting the tradition of the Vietnamese nation and actively respond to the activities of the "Waves and computers for children" program by donating and supporting each person 01 day's salary, working day or making in-kind contributions such as computers, smartphones, in order to create more resources to continue taking care of the material and spiritual life of poor students, students with difficult circumstances affected by the Covid-19 pandemic without interruption in their studies, contributing to Binh Duong province to overcome difficulties and overcome the pandemic.
