Continuing to allocate resources to support pandemic prevention and control

​PORTAL - From September 18, 2021 to September 25, 2021, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Relief Committee) received an additional nearly 12.3 billion VND including cash, objects, many goods and necessities to support the Covid-19 prevention and control.

Since the launch date, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received support and support registration from more than 700 organizations, individuals and enterprises inside and outside the province with a total amount of nearly 605.6 billion VND. In which, the total amount received and registered for support is 271.6 billion VND, along with many other medical equipment, supplies and products with a total conversion value of 334 billion VND. The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has coordinated with the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the Department of Health to distribute and transfer goods and equipment to treatment facilities and hospitals to support the Covid-19 prevention and control.

Binh Duong has also received nearly 55,000 social security gifts and over 1,300 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, tubers, fruits, food to support disadvantaged people, workers and employees staying in boarding houses and forces on duty of pandemic prevention and control. In which, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development supported 3,000 gifts, the Ministry of Finance and Baoviet Group supported 4,000 gifts to give to disadvantaged people and employees in the province. In addition, 31 provinces and cities across the country have donated in cash and goods to Binh Duong province with a total amount of 13.8 billion VND.

Up to now, the provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has spent a total amount of nearly 118 billion VND from support source to carry out pandemic prevention and control with activities such as: Allocating 17 billion VND to support pandemic prevention and control in localities; allocating more than 1 billion VND to support people in quarantine and lockdown areas who are the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances; spending 31 billion VND (supported by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front) to give 103,333 gifts to disadvantaged people due to the pandemic; spending 21 billion 264 million VND to support members of the Covid community groups and the Covid safety groups in residential areas and enterprises; spending nearly 26 billion VND to support disadvantaged workers and employees staying in boarding houses and supporting Covid-19 patients who died, the forces directly involved in the pandemic prevention and control being infected with Covid-19 and spending on purchasing medical equipment, etc.
