Organizing to inject more than 18,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine

​PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee agreed on the subject, time and distribution of the number of vaccines for phases 38 and 42 to the units at the request of the Department of Health.

Accordingly, organizing to inject Covid-19 AstraZeneca vaccine in phase 38 for all subjects aged 18 years and older who have not received the 1st dose, and the 2nd dose (if there are leftover vaccines) for those who have received the 1st dose and enough time to receive the 2nd dose (8-12 weeks); pregnant women over 13 weeks or more and mothers who are breastfeeding.

Pregnant women over 13 weeks or more are only allowed to receive the vaccine after having a screening examination with the consent of an obstetrician and injecting it at a hospital or medical facility with an obstetric department.

The AstraZeneca vaccine in phase 38 includes 1,000 doses from sources funded by the Government of Japan and distributed by the National Expanded Project on Immunization. The receiving unit is the Provincial Center for Disease Control, responsible for injection and coordination.

In addition, organizing to inject Covid-19 Pfizer vaccine in phase 42 for people aged 18 years and older; people over 60 years old who have not received the 1st dose, and inject the 2nd dose for the subjects who have received the 1st dose of Moderna and enough time to receive the 2nd dose (from 4 weeks or more); subjects who postponed vaccination in previous rounds due to underlying medical conditions but are eligible for Covid-19 vaccine; pregnant women over 13 weeks or more and mothers who are breastfeeding.

Organizing to deploy the campaign simultaneously from September 21, 2021 to September 22, 2021; vaccinating for those remaining on September 23, 2021.

Pfizer vaccine in phase 42 includes 17,550 doses from vaccine sources purchased from the state budget and distributed by the National Expanded Project on Immunization.
