Speaking at the conference, Mr. Mai Hung Dung said that following the principle of "Safety is to produce, production must be safe", at this conference, the provincial leaders, departments, committees and branches want to listen to the suggestions and recommendations of enterprises so that the province can accompany to remove difficulties and obstacles, create favorable conditions for enterprises to gradually restore production and business activities.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared that, in the past time, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Southern provinces and cities, including Binh Duong, has been complicated and challenging with the new Delta variant spreading faster and lasting longer than previous pandemic waves. This affects the production and business activities of enterprises and the lives of people in the province. However, with the drastic direction of the Government, Ministries and branches and the determination and efforts of the authorities at all levels and the people of Binh Duong province, up to now, the pandemic situation in the province has been controlled. The number of new cases continuously decreased; 6/9 districts, towns and provincial cities have announced "green zones" to return to the new normal.

At the conference, representatives of enterprises presented plans to restore production and business activities and some specific suggestions and recommendations. Ms. Nguyen Van - Vice President in charge of supply in Southeast Asia for ADIDAS Group said, enterprises share with the difficulties of Vietnam in general and Binh Duong in particular in the face of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and thank the leaders of Binh Duong province for creating favorable conditions for enterprises to both operate and prevent and control pandemic and vaccinate workers. However, according to Ms. Van, the pandemic has disrupted the supply chain and the "3 on the spot" model is not suitable for a labor-intensive sector like the garment. The representative of ADIDAS Group hoped that the province would gradually restore socio-economic activities so that enterprises could restart production on the basis of strict application of pandemic prevention and control measures.
In addition, representatives of enterprises proposed and recommended that the province continue to deploy vaccination for workers; support enterprises in testing and handling quickly when detecting F0; support enterprises to reproduce through financial support packages, etc.

After the departments, branches and localities responded to the enterprises' recommendations, Mr. Mai Hung Dung highly appreciated the plans to restore production and business of the enterprises. At the same time, he said that the province has promulgated a step-by-step plan for socio-economic recovery in the new normal. Accordingly, applying the roadmap to reorganize production and business in 3 stages, respectively 30%, 50% and 70% of capacity. Determining that the development of enterprises is the development of the province, provincial leaders always accompany and timely support difficulties and problems of enterprises. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Industrial Zones Authority, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Department of Health to continue to discuss with enterprises about the reproduction plan and ensure the requirements of pandemic prevention and control to coordinate and deploy smoothly and effectively.
