During the past time, Binh Duong province has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic for a long time. This pandemic wave has caused many families to fall into difficulties, many students lack living conditions, are not equipped with necessary items to prepare for the new school year; even falling into an orphan situation without support, disadvantaged in all aspects compared to peers. The province has more than 70,000 disadvantaged students who cannot participate in online learning.
For that reason, the ET branch of Binh Duong province calls on agencies, organizations and individuals from all over the country to join hands to support and help disadvantaged students, creating more opportunities for children to participate in learning, contributing to the successful implementation of the "The entire country joins hands for the poor - Leave no one behind" movement.
Up to now, the ET branch has received the support of organizations, units and individuals inside and outside the province with a total amount of 1 billion 240 million VND, 90 sets of fully equipped computers, 559 tablets and more than 32,000 data sims.
The ET branch has organized delegations to give gifts to disadvantaged students in Thu Dau Mot, Thuan An, Di An cities and Tan Uyen town with 50 tablets, 47 desktop computers and 50 scholarships (1 million VND each).
In the coming time, the ET branch hopes to continue to receive donations and support for learning equipment from agencies, organizations and philanthropists so that more and more students can receive meaningful gifts as above. The support can be in cash or networked devices for online learning, even old devices that can still be used.
