​PORTAL – As reported by the Department of Health, on September 08, 2021, Binh Duong had an additional 5,527 patients discharged from the hospital, bringing the total number of discharged patients from the 4th pandemic wave to 89,507 people.

In the past 24 hours, Binh Duong recorded 3,172 new cases of Covid-19, down 794 cases compared to September 07, 2021. In which, the number of cases is concentrated in the lockdown area with 2,839 cases (accounting for 89.5%), the detection rate through community screening is 215 cases (accounting for 6.8%), 27 cases through PCR confirmatory results at temporary quarantine areas (accounting for 0.9%) and 91 cases at medical facilities (accounting for 2.9%).

According to residence area, Thuan An city has 1,407 cases, Ben Cat town 633 cases, Di An city 332 cases, Tan Uyen town 595 cases, Thu Dau Mot city 128 cases, Bau Bang district 07 cases, Phu Giao district 08 cases, Bac Tan Uyen district 23 cases, Dau Tieng district 10 cases and 29 cases outside the province.

During the day, implementing collection and treatment for 2,824 patients, 34 cases died. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 18,000 patients.

Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 141,765 cases of Covid-19; 1,210 patients died.

The entire province has 44,040 people in concentrated quarantine and 5,101 F0 patients are quarantined at home; there are 1,216 lockdown areas with 118,741 people in the lockdown areas.

Binh Duong deployed large-scale sampling for testing phase 2 and 3 (from August 02, 2021) by rapid test and PCR for 3,941,804 people, the result was 95,392 positive cases (rate of 2.42%). Taking PCR samples for 132,758 workers at 161 companies in industrial parks, had 387 positive cases.

Cumulatively, the province recorded 1,514,471 doses vaccinated (1,467,039 1st doses and 47,432 2nd doses). The province is injecting 1 million doses of Sinopharm's Vero Cell vaccine that have been allocated.

On September 08, 2021, spending support for 14,148 cases, with an amount of 21,154 billion VND. Accumulated up to now, the province has supported 2,979,533 cases with the amount of 1,590,662 billion VND.

On September 08, 2021, the Steering Committee of Thu Dau Mot City submitted a document to the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control to consider and comment on some measures to control people and vehicles in Thu Dau Mot city after September 10, 2021. As proposed by the city, continuing to implement social distancing throughout the city from September 10, 2021 to the end of September 15, 2021 in accordance with Directive 16 and applying maximum restrictions on circulation and activities in the time frame from 20:00 the day before to 05:00 the next day. People who have received 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine for 20 days or more and have received 2 doses are allowed to circulate outside the ward where they reside (when participating in circulation, they must bring all documents proving that they have been vaccinated and meet the requirements for pandemic prevention and control). For traditional markets, commercial centers and supermarkets, it is allowed to resume operations provided that a business plan to ensure specific pandemic prevention and control is developed and approved by a competent authority. Stopping the operation of inter-quarter checkpoints, allowing local people to circulate within the ward; continuing to maintain for inter-ward, inter-district and inter-provincial checkpoints, etc.
