From August 29 to September 03, 2021, the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front (Relief Committee) spent 31 billion VND (supported by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front) to give 103,333 gifts (cash) to disadvantaged people due to the pandemic and spent an additional 160 million VND to support the Covid-19 patients died, the forces directly involved in the Covid-19 prevention and control infected with Covid-19 (F0) in the province.
Cumulatively, the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front (Relief Committee) has spent a total amount of over 113 billion VND to carry out pandemic prevention and control in the province with outstanding activities such as: Allocating 14 billion 520 million VND to the Steering Committees for Covid-19 prevention and control in districts, towns and cities to support local pandemic prevention and control; allocating more than 1 billion VND to support people in quarantine and lockdown areas who are the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances; spending 7 billion VND for the Provincial General Hospital to purchase ventilators for the treatment of severe Covid-19 patients; spending 9.3 billion VND to purchase 06 RT-PCR testing systems installed at Ben Cat Town Medical Center; spending 1 billion VND to purchase 10,000 SpO2 meters; spending over 23.4 billion VND to support disadvantaged workers, employees staying at boarding houses and supporting Covid-19 patients who died, the forces directly involved in the Covid-19 prevention and control infected with Covid-19 (F0) in the province, etc.
Binh Duong will also use this resource to spend more support for recovered F0 who volunteer to participate in pandemic prevention and control at the rate of 100,000 VND/person/day.
Binh Duong timely allocates support for pandemic prevention and control
It is known that since the launch date, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received support and support registration from 653 organizations, individuals and enterprises inside and outside the province with a total amount of over 552 billion VND. In which, the total amount received support and support registration is over 257 billion VND.
Enterprises, organizations and individuals also supported Binh Duong with 25 ambulances, 01 pharmaceutical transport vehicle, 03 mobile vaccination vehicles, 01 ECMO system, 01 RT-PCR testing system, 01 non-invasive ventilator, 02 portable digital X-ray machines, 207 ventilators, 15 universal ventilators, 289 high-flow oxygen generators, nearly 600,000 Covid-19 antigen test kits, 162,000 gloves, over 1,800,000 medical masks, over 100,000 N95 masks, over 29,000 medical protective suits, 120 medical beds, over 5,300 SpO2 oximeters, 5,000 oxygen tanks and many other medical supplies and biological products. In addition, the province has received over 950 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, tubers, fruits, food to support disadvantaged people and forces on duty to prevent and control the pandemic. The total value of converted goods is 295 billion VND. In particular, one enterprise registered to support 500,000 doses of Nanocovac vaccine (after being licensed for circulation and use) for injection to people in the entire province.
