In which, the infected cases were mainly found in blockade areas with 2,138 cases (accounting for 86%), through community screening tests with 44 cases (accounting for 1.8%); 21 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 0.8%) and 282 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 11.3%).

Compared with September 3, 2021, the localities with a decrease in the number of cases are Di An, Phu Giao, Thu Dau Mot.
Distribution of daily cases by locality on September 4
On September 4, 2021, Binh Duong had 3,640 patients discharged from hospital, an increase of 22.9% compared to September 3, 2021, bringing the total number of discharged patients from the 4th outbreak to 72,679.
During the day, 2,368 patients have been treated, 45 deaths occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 54,273 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 128,893 Covid-19 cases, of which 28,423 F0 are asymptomatic; 1,059 patients died.
The whole province has 1,354 blockade areas (mostly concentrated in Di An 606 areas, Thuan An 260 areas, Thu Dau Mot 181 areas, Ben Cat 148 areas, Tan Uyen 102 areas) with 126,002 people in the blockade area.
Binh Duong deployed large-scale sampling for testing phase 2 and 3 (from August 2, 2021) by rapid test and PCR for 3,258,971 people, with 78,888 positive cases (accounting for 2.42%). The Provincial Center for Disease Control conducted PCR sampling for 130,425 workers at 149 companies in industrial zones, with 327 positive cases.
Cumulatively, the whole province reported that 1,134,176 doses of vaccine were injected (1,088,096 1st doses and 46,080 2nd doses). The province is injecting 1 million doses of Sinopharm's Vero Cell vaccine that have been allocated.
To achieve the goal by September 15, 2021 to bring the province back to the "new normal", Binh Duong is speeding up the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination campaign to increase community immunity coverage, control and repel epidemics, and protect people's health and lives. The target is to strive to inject 250,000 doses/day.
On September 4, 2021, the Provincial Standing Party Committee also assigned the Health sector to coordinate with the Provincial Public Security and related sectors to advise the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control the plan for people to go out to the streets for cases where 2 doses and 1 dose of vaccine have been given (injected for 20 days).
On September 4, 2021, the province provided support for 13,624 cases, with a total amount of VND 15.746 billion. Including:
- Support 1,862 employees who suspended labor contracts or left unpaid with the amount of VND 7.201 billion (additional support for 490 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);
- Food support for 8,006 people who are F0 and F1 with the amount of VND 2.91 billion;
- Support for 3,756 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of VND 5.634 billion;
