Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thao emphasized that the launch of the Mobile medical station for Covid-19 prevention and control is very important. In particular, the 3 main forces, namely Health, Police and Army, will perform urgent tasks of pandemic prevention and control in the current complicated situation of Covid-19 in Tan Uyen. Communes and wards, especially 07 wards dense with F0, need to firmly grasp the pandemic situation in order to take appropriate measures to deal with the pandemic. Each ward must be tightly and strictly localized, especially in boarding houses, room quarantined from room, with warning lines and a manager. The Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee believed that, with the support of the Health, Army and Police forces participating in the Mobile medical station to carry out pandemic prevention and control, Tan Uyen Town will soon narrow the "red zone", expand the "green zone", bringing life back to a new normal.
In the afternoon of the same day, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control in Thuan An City also held a Launching ceremony of the Mobile medical station for Covid-19 prevention and control.
As reported, Thuan An city is currently one of the hot areas of the province with a total of over 17,000 Covid-19 cases. In order to actively enhance health care for F0 quarantined at home, contributing to improving the quality of treatment and reducing the load on concentrated quarantine facilities, the city's Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control decided to establish a Mobile medical station.
Launching a Mobile medical station for Covid-19 prevention and control in Thuan An city
The Mobile medical station will manage and monitor people with Covid-19, while providing health care and treatment for many other diseases for local people. In the situation of pandemic outbreak, this is the basis to help the Health branch of the city, especially wards and communes, actively improve the quality of treatment; reduce the load for concentrated quarantine facilities and hospitals of tier 2 and tier 3; reduce the rate of patients becoming severe and dying.
The Mobile medical station will coordinate with the ward and commune rapid response team to actively contact people with Covid-19 through their phone numbers and addresses assigned for management; distribute leaflets and instructions on home care for people with Covid-19. When necessary, the team of medical staff and doctors of the Mobile medical station will directly follow up regularly or transfer to an upper level when the patient shows signs of severe change. Along with the establishment of a Mobile medical station, Thuan An city will also direct local Health stations to well organize a large-scale Covid-19 sweeping and screening strategy to promptly separate F0 from the community.
