In the past 24 hours, the province recorded 4,129 new cases (expected to be announced by the Ministry of Health on 19:00 news on August 25, 2021). In which, the number of cases was concentrated most through community testing and screening with 2,128 cases (accounting for 51.5%) and in the lockdown area with 1,405 cases (accounting for 34%). There were 484 cases of PCR confirmatory results at temporary quarantine areas (accounting for 11.7%) and 112 cases at medical facilities (accounting for 2.7%).
According to area of residence, Thuan An city 1,976 cases (up 151.7%), Di An city 855 cases (up 145%), Tan Uyen town 533 cases (down 62.2%), Ben Cat town 421 cases (down 38.6%), Thu Dau Mot city 156 cases (down 42.4%), Bau Bang district 89 cases (up 4,350%), Bac Tan Uyen district 62 cases (up 5.1%), Phu Giao district 14 cases (up 75%), Dau Tieng district 3 cases (down 83.3%) and 20 cases outside the province (down 48.7%).

During the day, 1,668 patients were collected and treated (up 14.9% compared to August 24, 2021); 31 cases died (down 11.4%).
Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 15,641 patients, of which tier 1 has 5,852 patients, tier 2 has 9,029 patients and tier 3 has 760 patients.
Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 81,182 Covid-19 cases; 670 patients died.
Results of sampling for the second large-scale testing (from August 02, 2021), the localities took samples for rapid test and PCR for 1,201,878 people, had 34,988 positive cases; implemented PCR sampling for 114,173 workers at 130 companies in industrial parks, had 323 positive cases.
The province currently has 1,289 lockdown areas with 130,223 people; 25,707 people are in concentrated quarantine; 8,689 F1 cases are quarantined at home and 3,375 F0 cases are quarantined at home.

With the goal of not letting any people go hungry during the days of implementing the "lockdown" to quell the pandemic, on August 24 and 25, 2021, the functional forces of Thuan An city, Tan Uyen town have distributed goods to people in 11 wards are implementing "lockdown and freeze". The support items include: Rice, food, spices, drinking water, etc. equivalent to 50,000 VND/person/day.
It is estimated that there are about 332,048 people, workers and employees staying at boarding houses in 07 "locked-down" wards of Tan Uyen town (including Hoi Nghia, Khanh Binh, Thai Hoa, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Uyen Hung, Tan Hiep and Tan Vinh Hiep) and 387,000 people, workers and employees staying at boarding houses in 04 wards of Thuan An city (including Binh Chuan, Thuan Giao, An Phu, Binh Hoa) are provided with food and essential foodstuffs.
Binh Duong also prioritizes vaccines for the "red zone", especially the wards that are locked down to carry out testing in combination with vaccination.
In order to reorganize production activities in "green zone" localities, Binh Duong has implemented the establishment of 3 green model (enterprise, worker, boarding house) at enterprises in industrial parks in Ben Cat town, Bau Bang district and Bac Tan Uyen district.
