In the past 24 hours, the province recorded 4,129 new cases (expected to be announced by the Ministry of Health on the news at 19:00 on August 25, 2021). In which, the number of cases is concentrated most through community screening tests with 2,128 cases (accounting for 51.5%) and in the blockade area 1,405 cases (accounting for 34%). There were 484 cases confirmed by PCR at temporary isolation areas (accounting for 11.7%) and 112 cases at medical facilities (accounting for 2.7%).
By residential area, Thuan An city 1,976 cases (up 151.7%), Di An city 855 cases (up 145%), Tan Uyen town 533 cases (down 62.2%), Ben Cat town 421 cases (down 38.6%), Thu Dau Mot city 156 cases (down 42.4%), Bau Bang district 89 cases (up 4,350%), Bac Tan Uyen district 62 cases (up 5.1%), Phu Giao district 14 cases (up 75%), Dau Tieng district 03 cases (down 83.3%) and outside the province 20 cases (down 48.7%).

During the day, 1,668 patients were collected and treated (up 14.9% compared to August 24, 2021); 31 deaths (down 11.4%).
Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 15,641 patients, including 5,852 patients are on the first floor, 9,029 patients on the second floor and 760 patients on the third floor.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 81,182 cases of Covid-19; 670 patients died.
Results of sampling for the 2nd large-scale screening test (from August 2, 2021), localities took samples for rapid test and PCR for 1,201,878 people, with 34,988 positive cases; implemented PCR sampling for 114,173 workers at 130 companies in industrial zones, with 323 positive cases.
The whole province currently has 1,289 blockade areas with 130,223 people; 25,707 people are in concentrated isolation; 8,689 cases of F1 are isolated at home and 3,375 cases of F0 are isolated at home.

With the goal of not letting any people hungry in the days of implementing the "lockdown" to quell the epidemic, August 24 and 25, 2021, the functional forces of Thuan An city, Tan Uyen town have distributed goods to people in 11 wards who are "locked and frozen". The supporting foods include: Rice, food, spices, drinking water etc. equivalent to 50,000 VND/person/day.
It is estimated that there are about 332,048 people, workers, and laborers staying in 07 "locked" wards of Tan Uyen Town (including Hoi Nghia, Khanh Binh, Thai Hoa, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Uyen Hung, Tan Hiep and Tan Vinh Hiep) and 387,000 people, workers and laborers staying in 04 wards of Thuan An city (including Binh Chuan, Thuan Giao, An Phu, Binh Hoa) are provided with food and essential food.
Binh Duong also prioritizes vaccines for the "red zone", especially the wards that are locked down to carry out testing in combination with vaccination.
To reorganize production activities in the "green zone" localities, Binh Duong deploys to set up the 3 green model (enterprise, worker, inn) at enterprises in industrial zones in Ben Cat town, Bau Bang district, Bac Tan Uyen district.
