The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front allocates resources to support the Covid-19 prevention and control

​PORTAL - From the source of support mobilization, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Rescue Committee) has allocated it to localities and units to serve the Covid-19 prevention and control.

Specifically, allocating 14 billion 520 million VND to districts, towns and cities to support local pandemic prevention and control; allocating more than 1 billion VND to support people in quarantine and lockdown areas who are the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances; spending 21 billion 264 million VND to support members of the Covid community groups and the Covid safety groups in residential areas and enterprises; spending 4 billion 350 million VND for Bau Bang district to buy Covid-19 rapid test kits for workers and employees in Bau Bang industrial park; spending 7 billion VND for the Provincial General Hospital to purchase ventilators for the treatment of severe Covid-19 patients; spending 300 million VND to buy food and foodstuffs to support people in quarantine areas in some "red zone" localities; spending 23 billion 355 million VND to purchase 06 RT-PCR testing systems installed at Ben Cat Town Medical Center to improve the province's testing capacity. In addition, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has spent over 5 billion VND (phase 1) to support workers, employees staying at boarding houses and support Covid-19 patients who died, the forces directly involved in the pandemic prevention and control being infected with Covid-19. The total amount spent is nearly 80 billion VND.

It is known that from the time of launching on May 27, 2021 to August 21, 2021, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has received support and support registration from 603 organizations, individuals and enterprises inside and outside the province with a total amount of over 510.2 billion VND, including the amount received and registered to support 218.6 billion VND.

In response to the province's demand for medical equipment, enterprises, organizations and individuals have donated 25 ambulances, 01 pharmaceutical transport vehicle, 03 mobile vaccination vehicles,  01 ECMO system, 01 RT-PCR test system, 01 non-invasive ventilator, 02 portable digital X-ray machines, nearly 200 ventilators, 15 multi-function ventilators, 289 high-flow oxygen generators, nearly 600,000 Covid-19 antigen test kits, 142,000 gloves, over 1,750,000 medical masks, 54,800 N95 masks, over 24,000 medical protective suits, 120 medical beds, over 5,000 SpO2 oximeters, 5,000 oxygen cylinders and many other medical supplies and biological products. Along with that is nearly 500 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, tubers, fruits, food to support disadvantaged people and forces on duty to prevent and control the pandemic. Total conversion value is over 291.6 billion VND. In particular, an enterprise registered to support 500,000 doses of Nanocovac vaccine.

The source of support from enterprises, organizations and individuals is timely and meaningful, effectively serving the Covid-19 prevention and control in the province.
