In the past 24 hours, Binh Duong recorded 3,183 new cases of Covid-19, down 16.1% compared to August 22, 2021. In which, the most cases were concentrated through community screening tests with 2,925 cases (accounting for 63.6%) and 668 in the blockade area (accounting for 21%); 455 cases through PCR confirmation at temporary isolation areas (accounting for 14.3%) and 35 cases at medical facilities (accounting for 1.1%).
By residential area, Tan Uyen town 2,061 cases (up 10%), Ben Cat town 743 cases (up 236.2%); Thuan An city 232 cases (down 67.9%), Di An city 41 cases (down 92.9%), Thu Dau Mot City 39 cases (down 84.7%), Bac Tan Uyen district 22 cases (down 67.6%), Bau Bang district 19 cases (down 70.8%), Phu Giao district 12 cases (up 500%), Dau Tieng district 01 case (0%) and outside the province 13 cases (down 85.7%).
During the day, collected treatment for 1,374 patients; 34 deaths. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 14,953 patients, of which the first floor has 6,622 patients, the second floor has 7,696 patients and the third floor has 635 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 73,425 cases of Covid-19; 604 patients died.
From August 2, 2021, Binh Duong conducted the second large-scale testing. As a result, localities took samples for rapid test and PCR for 1,003,269 people, with 26,039 positive cases. At the same time, PCR sampling was carried out for 113,628 workers at 130 companies in industrial zones, with 323 positive cases.
The province currently has 1,205 blockade areas with 121,972 people; 22,428 people are in concentrated isolation; 6,826 cases of F1 are isolated at home and 4,299 cases of F0 are isolated at home.
On August 23, 2021, the province provided support for 236,726 cases, with a total amount of VND 95,896 billion. Including:
- Support employees to suspend labor contracts or take unpaid leave for 168 people with the amount of VND 477.94 million (additional support for 55 cases of pregnancy and raising children under 6 years old);
- Food support for 2,733 F0 and F1 with the amount of VND 526.16 million;
- Support for 656 business households with an amount of VND 1,968 billion;
- Support for 2,562 people who are employees without labor contracts with the amount of VND 3,843 billion;
- Housing rental support for employees staying in accommodation for 131,113 people with the amount of VND 39,334 billion;
- Food support for 99,494 people who are laborers with difficult circumstances living in accommodation with the amount of VND 49,747 billion.
