Binh Duong: Completing Covid-19 vaccination for foreign experts before August 30, 2021

​PORTAL - The Office of the Provincial Party Committee announces the Conclusion of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoang Thao, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on the situation of deploying Covid-19 vaccination for foreign experts in the province.

Accordingly, the province ensures to meet enough vaccines for foreign experts according to the list provided; particularly for 17,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine (China), the Health branch organizes appropriate allocation to inject the right subjects as prescribed.

Agencies and units are requested to improve their responsibilities, capacity and service quality, ensure work efficiency, legal regulations, and time schedule when organizing Covid-19 vaccination for foreign experts. Coordinating to carefully prepare the number of vaccines in the previous day to be ready for injection the next morning, ensuring thoughtfulness and orderliness, leaving a good impression on foreign experts.

Agreeing vaccination sites at Becamex International General Hospital (Thuan An City) and My Phuoc General Hospital (Ben Cat Town). Each hospital, arranging an additional injection area next to the existing injection area to ensure the completion time of vaccination for foreign experts.

The provincial Center for Disease Control (CDC) mobilizes forces for the vaccination mission at the two hospitals above. For the vaccination force under the management of the Provincial CDC, two hospitals are assigned to preside over and administer the vaccination. In case the private Health force must be mobilized, the Provincial CDC shall report to the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control for consideration and decision.

To deploy the vaccination to be completed before August 30, 2021, the Department of Foreign Affairs is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial CDC, Becamex International General Hospital and My Phuoc General Hospital to organize the implementation, ensuring efficiency and schedule. At the same time, coordinating with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Industrial Zones Authority to inform and agree with those who are vaccinated on the requirement to have a negative Covid-19 test certificate as prescribed and must be valid in order to have enough documents to pass through checkpoints and enter medical facilities where vaccination is carried out.

Particularly for the movement through the checkpoints, the Department of Foreign Affairs is requested to coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, and relevant units to organize zoning to arrange appropriate shuttle bus for foreign experts; at the same time, divide the vaccination time frame, ensuring that there are no crowds, causing the risk of pandemic spread.
