Accordingly, Binh Duong province has seriously and drastically implemented solutions for Covid-19 prevention and control under the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Health in order to soon control the pandemic, reduce the rate of infection and reduce the rate of severe patients, deaths, striving to return to the "new normal" from September 01, 2021. In parallel with the implementation of large-scale testing to soon separate cases from the community, the main and fundamental solution is vaccination to achieve community immunity in the province. With a population of more than 2.6 million people, Binh Duong needs to vaccinate more than 2 million people, in which giving priority to subjects according to Resolution no. 21/NQ-CP of the Government and the workforce to ensure production maintenance, without disrupting domestic and global production chains.
Over the past time, the Ministry of Health has supported human resources, medical supplies as well as distributed Covid-19 vaccines to Binh Duong with the number of 544,060 doses (from phase 1 to phase 16). Based on the distribution of the Ministry of Health, Binh Duong quickly developed a plan and implemented vaccination with a capacity of more than 100,000 doses/day. As of August 10, 2021, Binh Duong has basically completed the injection of the above number of vaccines. However, because the data entry on the National Covid-19 Immunization Management Platform has not kept pace with vaccination, the data on the system does not fully reflect the actual situation. Currently, the province is focusing on promoting data entry, which is expected to be completed and uploaded to the system in the next 2-3 days.
