The Center performs the following functions: The on-duty focal point to receive information reflecting pandemic prevention and control, and people's support requests; analyzing, issuing orders to handle according to its competence or reporting, seeking advice on handling from competent authorities; organizing communication, monitoring and supervision of the implementation of orders for Covid-19 prevention and control in the province, coordinating the activities of the affiliated Rapid Response Teams on a 24/7 timeframe.
The Center is responsible for building mechanisms and processes for receiving and processing information with appropriate models at all levels; clearly assigning and defining tasks, avoiding duplication. Directing and urging the establishment of a Combat Information System and Rapid response teams at all levels according to the Plan to establish a System of Combat Information Centers for COVID-19 prevention and control in Binh Duong province. Organizing on duty 24/7 to receive and synthesize information reflecting pandemic prevention and control, and people's support requests from many sources (Call center 1022, social networks, press information, direct phone calls, etc.); analyzing, issuing orders to handle according to their competence or reporting, seeking advice and direction for handling from the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, Center for processing information and issuing orders for Covid-19 prevention and control, Center for command and coordination of Rapid response teams' activities for Covid-19 prevention and control, Provincial Coordination Center of relief goods for Covid-19 prevention and control.
At the same time, ensuring smooth information throughout the System of Combat Information Center and Rapid response teams at all levels; requesting agencies and units to report on the situation, progress, results, execution of orders and the handling of other information reflecting pandemic prevention and control. Guiding, urging, supervising and inspecting the performance of the task of handling reflections related to Covid-19 prevention and control in the district and commune levels.
The Head of Center is responsible for assigning tasks to each member of the Center; directs and develops specific plans to suit the functions and tasks of Covid-19 prevention and control in the province in order to mobilize, coordinate, exploit and use all resources in the most effective way.
The Department of Information and Communications is assigned to be the Standing agency of the Center; may use the apparatus, seal, and accounts of the Department of Information and Communications to serve the Center's activities and in working relationships with other departments, branches and localities. The Center dissolves itself after completing the task.
