​PORTAL - On the morning of August 09, at the headquarters of Thoi Hoa ward Police, Ben Cat town, the Inspectorate of the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the provincial Police and Ben Cat town Police worked with Ms. N.T.T.H (permanent address at Quarter 4, My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat town) for posting false information on social network about the policies to support employees affected by Covid-19 pandemic in Binh Duong province.

Previously, on July 28, 2021, Ms. N.T.T.H used her personal Facebook account "Ha Linh" to post on ""Binh Duong 24h Gossip Group" ("Nhóm Hóng Hớt Bình Dương 24h") with the content "People in binh duong, let's find out again, because the government's directive will support the whole people 1.5 million VND per month. In dong nai thuan an, these papers have been distributed, have zones 1, 2, 3 in ben cat distributed? Let's share together, the local government must distribute to each household or to the boarding house owner, then people can know and register, gather for one person to submit, otherwise, how would anyone know how to register,, let's share to clarify, dear all,,".

The information posted by Ms. N. T. T. H is not true

At the meeting, Ms. N.T.T.H said that she herself set up a volunteer group with relatives, friends and sponsors in Ha Tinh to support more than 2,000 gifts for people in difficult circumstances, workers in boarding houses, etc. in Thoi Hoa, Ben Cat town; on July 28, 2021, she read information on Facebook of her friends about the support policy for employees with the amount of 1.5 million VND according to Decision no. 09/2021/QD-UBND dated July 16, 2021 of Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee, so she shared it with the purpose of sending information to everyone, she herself did not read the information carefully, so she uploaded the above untrue information.

The Inspectorate of the Department of Information and Communications in coordination with the Provincial Police and Ben Cat Town Police work with Ms. N. T. T. H.

She herself was aware of her wrongdoing, proactively removed false information and wrote a commitment not to repeat it.

Considering Ms. N.T.T.H's violation, Chief Inspector of the Department of Information and Communications issued a decision to sanction administrative violations with an amount of 5 million VND according to regulations.
