The provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front has spent a total amount of nearly 77 billion VND to carry out pandemic prevention and control in the province. Specifically, allocating 14 billion 520 million VND to the Steering Committees for Pandemic Prevention and Control of districts, towns and cities to support local pandemic prevention and control; allocating more than 01 billion VND to support people in quarantine and lockdown areas who are the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances; spending 21 billion 264 million VND to support members of the Covid Community Groups and the Covid Safety Groups in residential areas and enterprises; spending 4 billion 350 million VND for the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Bau Bang district to purchase Covid-19 rapid test kits; spending 07 billion VND for the Provincial General Hospital to purchase ventilators for treatment of severe Covid-19 patients; spending 300 million VND to buy food, foodstuffs to support people in quarantine areas at some "red zone" localities. Regarding objects, as of August 07, 2021, the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front has received 13 ambulances, 01 pharmaceutical transport vehicle, 01 ECMO system, 01 non-invasive ventilator, 123 ventilators, 07 multi-function ventilators, 37 oxygen generators, nearly 420,000 Covid-19 antigen test kits, 20,000 gloves, over 1,650,000 medical masks, 14,000 N95 masks, over 12,600 medical protective suits, 120 medical beds and many other medical supplies and biological products; nearly 400 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables, tubers, fruits, food to support people in need and forces on duty to prevent and control the pandemic.
The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Red Cross Society and the provincial socio-political organizations have also received much attention, sharing and support from officials and people of provinces and cities nationwide to help Binh Duong province overcome difficulties and win the pandemic.
