​PORTAL – The Provincial People's Committee directs to reduce the time of concentrated medical quarantine for those entering the country who have received a full dose of Covid-19 vaccine.

Accordingly, the Department of Health coordinates with relevant agencies and units; People's Committees of districts, towns and cities implement concentrated medical quarantine for 07 days and continue to monitor the health of the next 07 days (except for those entering the country to work for less than 14 days and for those entering the country in quarantine according to other regulations of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control and the Ministry of Health) for people entering the country who fully meet the conditions: Have a negative test result for SARS-CoV-2 (by RT-PCR or RT-LAMP method) within 72 hours before departure and certified by the competent authority of the country conducting the test; have received a full dose of Covid-19 vaccine (the last dose injected in at least 14 days and not more than 12 months by the time of entry), have a vaccination certificate or have been infected with SARS-CoV-2 (have a certificate of positive test for SAR-COV-2 by individual sample RT-PCR method no older than 6 months by the time of entry)  and have a certificate of recovery from Covid-19 or equivalent documents certifying that they have recovered from the disease, issued by a competent authority in the country of treatment.

Taking test for SARS-CoV-2 on the 1st and 7th days from the date of entry. If the result is positive, then it will be handled according to regulations. The handover, transport, and reception of people entering the country who have completed concentrated medical quarantine to their places of residence for further medical supervision and monitoring shall comply with the provisions of Official Dispatch no. 425/CV- BCD dated January 19, 2021 of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on instructions on handing over and managing after completing concentrated quarantine. During the process of moving from the centralized quarantine facility to the place of residence, the people completing the concentrated medical quarantine must always carry out the 5K message, especially wear a mask and keep their distance, always turn on and use the Bluezone app. During medical monitoring, the people who complete the concentrated medical quarantine will continue to use the Bluezone app until the end of 14 days from the date of entry; always implement the 5K message, especially wear a mask, do not gather and do not go to crowded places.

Agencies and units must strictly implement the management and supervision of medical quarantine, handing over, transporting and receiving people who have completed concentrated medical quarantine, to prevent cross-infection and spread of pandemic to the community; create conditions for those entering the country who fully meet the conditions under the guidance of the Ministry of Health to perform concentrated medical quarantine at a hotel if needed, then the people entering the country must pay all transportation costs, medical quarantine and other related costs according to regulations.
