In the event that a department, committee, branch or locality has an unexpected or unusual incident, it is recommended to provide initial information to the press no later than 2 hours from the time the incident arises, which clearly states the direction and solutions for the initial handling of the incident (if any). Regularly monitoring and capturing information, especially information on cyberspace about pandemic prevention and control related to the scope of management, to promptly handle and resolve difficulties, problems and frustrations of people and enterprises.
At the same time directing the subordinate forces involved in pandemic prevention and control to strictly and correctly comply with the regulations of the competent authorities, have a proper attitude towards the people, avoiding causing irritation, discontent, heating up the issue, spreading unfavorable information on social networks, affecting the implementation of pandemic prevention and control measures.
The Department of Information and Communications and the Provincial Police is assigned to strengthen the review and timely detection of fake and false news about the pandemic situation and pandemic prevention and control in the province. Thereby promptly coordinating in verifying and appraising information sources, announcing and warning of fake and false news; proactively handling strictly those who spread information violating the law in the province. In case the identity of the violator cannot be determined, agencies and units shall coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Public Security to take measures to prevent infringing content in cyberspace.
The Department of Information and Communications directs the press and media forces in the province to closely follow the direction and orientation of propaganda, highlighting the goal of protecting, taking care of people's health and life above all else; capture foreign media public opinion to coordinate with functional units of the Ministry of Information and Communications and press forces across the country to promptly counter misrepresentations.
