Immediately after launching the call, many enterprises, agencies, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province have actively contributed to and supported the Covid-19 prevention and control, especially the necessary medical equipment and supplies for the medical industry for pandemic treatment and control.
The Binh Duong provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front has also received much attention, sharing and support from officials and people of provinces and cities throughout the country. Specifically, Thanh Hoa province donated 01 billion VND; Hai Phong city donated 01 billion VND; Bac Ninh province donated 01 billion VND; Binh Dinh province donated 01 billion VND; Binh Thuan province donated 13 tons of goods worth 01 billion VND; Ben Tre province donated 500 million VND and goods; Binh Phuoc province donated 300 million VND; Can Tho city donated 300 million VND; Quang Tri province donated 70 tons of goods and necessities; Lao Cai province donated 500 million VND.
Through the Red Cross Society and mass organizations, the province has also received more than 200 tons of goods from many provinces and cities of Central Region and Central Highlands to support the people of Binh Duong province to overcome difficulties and win the pandemic.
Contributions and support of organizations, individuals and enterprises help the province have more resources to fight the pandemic
On behalf of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Chairman of the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully acknowledged and appreciated the attention, support and contributions of agencies, units, organizations, individuals and enterprises that have promptly shared difficulties with the authorities and people of Binh Duong province in the Covid-19 prevention and control. The Binh Duong provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front is committed to distributing, managing and using the mobilization resources for the right subjects and for the right purposes according to regulations.
As of July 30, 2021, the provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front (Relief Committee) has received and registered for donations with a total amount of nearly 277 billion VND, including 107 billion VND in cash, bank transfer (some units registered to donate cash to donate medical supplies and equipment) and objects including medical supplies, medical equipment, food goods worth 170 billion VND.
The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Relief Committee) has made expenditures from the Provincial Relief Fund, in the source of mobilizing support for the Covid-19 prevention and control, with a total amount of 48 billion 437 million VND to carry out the pandemic prevention and control in the province. Specifically, allocating 14 billion 520 million VND to the Steering Committees for Pandemic Prevention and Control of districts, towns and cities to support local pandemic prevention and control; allocating more than 1 billion VND to support people in quarantine and lockdown areas who are the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, Agent Orange victims in difficult circumstances; spending 21 billion 264 million VND to support members of the Community Covid Groups and the Covid Safety Groups in residential areas and enterprises; spending 04 billion 350 million VND for the Steering Committee for Covid-19 prevention and control in Bau Bang district to purchase Covid-19 rapid test kits for workers in Bau Bang Industrial Park; spending 07 billion VND for the Provincial General Hospital to purchase ventilators for treatment of severe Covid-19 patients; spending 300 million VND to buy food and foodstuffs to support people in quarantine areas in some "red zone" localities (The funding is used from the source of support for the Covid-19 prevention and control, separating from the source to purchase vaccines). The procurement of 06 Realtime-PCR systems worth 25 billion VND is about to be completed and will be quickly put into use to improve the testing capacity of the province.
The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with the Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control of the province (CDC) to receive medical equipment and supplies to serve the pandemic treatment, prevention and control in the province; coordinated with the provincial Red Cross Society and the provincial Military Command to distribute goods, food and necessities to the quarantine and lockdown areas, organize a 0-VND humanitarian Market to support people and forces on duty to prevent and control the pandemic.
