From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 10,684 Covid-19 cases; 770 patients have recovered; 62 death cases have occurred.
According to the Health sector, the number of infected cases has an increase trend in Thuan An, Bau Bang, Tan Uyen, Ben Cat.
Cases classified by locality in the last 02 days
There are 5,748 patients under treatments (new infected cases are transferred to treatment areas and some F0 cases without symptoms are still at temporary quarantine zones). Among the cases, there are 81 pregnant women; 69 people over 65 years old; 194 people with background diseases; 254 patients having severe development.
Currently Binh Duong has 12 treatment areas, 120 doctors, 295 nurses directly serving; and 166 medical staff (in total: 581 people). The province is building a plan to expand the number of beds used for treatment to 20,000.
Binh Duong is implementing the treatment task based on the "3-floor" pyramid model. In which, the 1st floor consists of establishments taken on to cure F0 cases who are at low level of severity and have no symptoms; the establishments include: Dormitory of National University Ho Chi Minh City: 1,500 beds; Field Hospital No. 2 (Viet Duc University Campus): 3,000 beds, Field Hospital No. 4 (Hoang Hung Factory Area, Bau Bang): 3,000 beds and can be expanded.
The 2nd floor consists of establishments receiving, treating cases at the medium level of severity, including: Medical Centers of districts, towns, cities: Thuan An: 500 beds, Di An: 200 beds, Tan Uyen: 400 beds, Ben Cat: 400 beds, Phu Giao: 400 beds, Dau Tieng: 200 beds, Bau Bang: 400 beds, Field Hospital No.1: 3,000 beds, Field Hospital No.2 (Thoi Hoa, Ben Cat): 5,000 beds, 5B Field Hospital and can be expanded.
The 3rd floor is used for intensive emergency resuscitation with severe Covid-19 cases, including: 1,000-bed Provincial General Hospital, including 200 ICU beds and non-public hospitals, 20 ICU beds each.
Regarding the large-scale testing and screening, accumulated after 12 days (from July 17, 2021), samples were taken for 978,647 people, and the results detected 10,728 people suspected of having Covid-19 (1%).
Currently, the whole province has 1,100 blockade areas with 107,867 people; 126 concentrated quarantine areas with 18,969 people and 2,533 F1 cases in quarantine at home.
