​PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, from 17:00 on July 27 to 17:00 on July 28, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 631 new infected cases.

Among 631 new cases, 187 cases were detected at medical facilities; 380 cases were detected at quarantine zones; 64 cases were detected at blockade areas.

By locality, Thuan An has 277 cases; Tan Uyen Town has 183 cases; Bau Bang District has 96 cases; Thu Dau Mot City has 52 cases; Ben Cat Town has 05 cases; Di An City has 13 cases; Dau Tieng District has 01 case and other localities have 04 cases.

In the day, 10 patients recovered.

From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 9,540 Covid-19 cases; 712 patients have recovered; 47 death cases have occurred.

Cases classified by locality in the la​st 2 days

Currently Binh Duong has 12 treatment areas with 5,019 patients under treatments (new infected cases are transferred to treatment areas and some F0 cases without symptoms are still at temporary quarantine zones). Among the cases, there are 76 pregnant women; 66 people over 65 years old; 188 people with background diseases; 107 patients having severe development.

Cumulatively, after 11 days of large-scale screening (since July 17, 2021), 970,271 people have been taken test samples, 10,483 people have been suspected to be infected with Covid-19 (1%).

Currently, there are 1,100 blockade areas with 107,867 people; 126 concentrated quarantine areas with 18,969 people and 2,533 F1 cases in quarantine at home.

Due to the continuously complicated development of the epidemic, the Health sector continues enhancing the sampling and testing capability with 600 sampling teams to ensure fast sampling and to return results in 24 hours; deploys to increase the number of quarantine beds to 50,000 and expands to 100,000 beds. The province is building a plan on expanding the number of beds to treat Covid-19 patients to 20,000 when it is necessary. The province also urgently purchases supplementary packs of supplies, equipment, test, medical goods,… to ensure emergency supply with the view of preventing the spread of the epidemic; it also invests in 60 more ventilators, oxygen masks, oxygen concentration meters, SP02,… for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
