Reporting to the Delegation, the Election Committee (EC) of Ben Cat town said that the election preparation has been paid close attention by leaders of branches and levels from towns to communes and wards, drastically directing and implementing documents of all levels, guiding the implementation. Preparatory steps have been carried out strictly and thoughtfully on time under the law. The work of fixing and announcing the number of constituencies, the list of constituencies and the number of elected People's Council deputies of each constituency and establishment of election boards, receiving candidate profiles is done seriously, in accordance with the prescribed order and time.
Overview of the meeting
The Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of towns, communes and wards held the second consultation conference to implement the agreement on making a preliminary list of candidates for People's Council deputies of towns, communes and wards. Up to now, the total number of candidates for the Ben Cat Town People's Council deputies is 64 people to elect for 35 official deputies. At the commune and ward level, the total number of candidates is 412 to elect for 225 deputies. The propaganda has been paid attention and directed by the Party Executive Committee, authorities, Steering Committee, and ECs at all levels.
After listening to the EC of Ben Cat town and localities reporting on the election preparation, members of the Central Committee's inspection and supervision delegation highly appreciated the proactive in implementing the election and strictly following the instructions of the Central Committee and the Law on local election. At the same time, highly appreciating the spirit and responsibility of Ben Cat Town EC, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Cat Town in performing tasks related to the election. He suggested Ben Cat Town continue to implement the election preparation to ensure the schedule set out.
