​Accordingly, the fields involved in the award consideration include 6 groups: State management on environmental protection; education, training, communication; consulting, advisory, criticizing and supervising the implementation of policies and laws on environmental protection; research and application of scientific and technological advances in the field of environmental protection; preventing and minimizing negative impacts on the environment, overcoming incidents, dealing with pollution, restoring and improving the environment; protecting and rationally using natural resources, conserving biodiversity and biological safety; implementing green growth strategy, responding to climate change.

Subjects that are considered and presented are organizations, individuals and communities with outstanding achievements in environmental protection in Binh Duong province. The number of awards per consideration is considered on the basis of specific results on environmental protection achievements, but not more than 18 awards for all 03 types of organizations, individuals and communities in the fields participating in consideration and presenting.

Requirements to consider and present: For organizations with outstanding achievements that are socially recognized, successfully solving at least one particular environmental issue or promoting progress in environmental protection activities in one of the fields of award consideration; has been operating, producing and doing business continuously in the province for 03 years or more, not violating the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection and relevant provisions for at least 02 years up to the time of registration to consider the award; voluntarily register or be introduced by an agency, mass organization, socio-political organization or professional organization in the province to participate in the consideration and presenting of the Award.

For manufacturing and business enterprises, in addition to meet the above requirements, they must also be on the list of enterprises that perform well in environmental protection according to the provisions of Decision no. 05/2018/QD dated March 6, 2018 of the Provincial People's Committee on criteria for evaluating and classifying enterprises and building Binh Duong Green Book.

For individuals and communities with outstanding achievements in environmental protection or building new, effective models in one of the fields of award consideration; they have not violated the provisions of the Law on Environmental Protection and relevant provisions for at least 02 years up to the time of consideration and presenting of the Award; voluntarily register or be introduced by an agency, mass organization, socio-political organization or professional organization in the province to participate in the consideration and presenting of the Award.
