Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Truc appreciated the organization and implementation of the Standing Provincial Steering Committee. However, the statistical progress is still slow; therefore, in the coming time, the Steering Committee should focus on urging and sending surveyors to guide enterprises; proactively notifying, reminding and supervising agencies in the non-business units and associations to follow the established progress. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the Census's nature is very important as a foundation for comprehensive socio-economic assessment of the province; therefore, if any problems arise during implementation, it is necessary to report to the Provincial People's Committee for timely resolution.
