Specifically, the first platform is to manage the e-newsroom. This platform allows building a newsroom converging modern technology, bringing the entire journalism profession to the digital environment, including publishing process management activities, the newsroom's internal management activities, two-way interactive activities with readers, measuring the number of readers, applying technology, presenting content and availability for a future e-newspaper subscription model, applying technology, presenting content and being ready for a fee model of electronic newspaper in the future. The Ministry of Information and Communications has evaluated and selected a good e-newsroom management platform in the market, offered a free first year policy for all basic modules, entire infrastructure services, including: Server, transmission line and distribution of content nationwide.
The second platform is to analyze information and opinion on social networks. This platform helps press agencies to promptly grasp information and public opinion, thereby recognizing information to have news, articles responding to readers' wishes at the right time. This is a way to help the press agency innovate operations, improve its competitiveness, and increase the number of readers rapidly. To use and exploit the platform, the press agencies will be provided with accounts and instructions for use by the ministry.
The third is the platform to support attack prevention and emergency response for information system of press agencies in order to create a shield and protect digital environment operations for press agencies. The Ministry of Information and Communications supports press agencies to remotely monitor, early warning of information insecurity risks for systems. When the press agencies encounter serious incidents, through the emergency response and coordination system, the Ministry will implement technological measures, allocate resources for the press agency support network to promptly resolve and troubleshoot problems.
To participate in the three above support programs, press agencies should contact the Authority of Information Technology Application or the Authority of Information Security (Ministry of Information and Communications). The Ministry of Information and Communications will continue to evaluate and select digital transformation platforms to accompany press agencies in the digital transformation process.
