Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung affirmed that, the National Reporting Platform and Center for Information and Directions of the Government, the Prime Minister launched will be an important highlight in the process of building and developing e-Government; showing the determination to administrative reform and promoting the application of information technology in management activities. The benefits of the Platform and Center are to change the way of directing and operating based on information and data on paper documents into digital data via reporting platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, safe and effective updating, synthesis and analysis of information and data; implementing easily and quickly to save time, increase the timeliness and accuracy of information, reporting data, etc.
The Center for Information and Directions of the Government, the Prime Minister is connected with the operating centers, reporting platform, National databases, specialized information systems and databases of Ministries, branches and localities. From the Center, the Prime Minister, members of the Government can monitor and inspect activities in each field managed by Ministries, branches and localities. At the same time, via digital data, visual and online images, helping the Government leaders to direct and administer the work directly to Ministries, branches, localities and in the field.
After 8 months of operation, the National Public Service Portal has connected with 18 Ministries, agencies, 63 provinces, cities and 08 banks, payment intermediaries, e-wallet service providers; prepares to integrate, provide 1,000 online public services; with nearly 56.4 million access times, more than 220,000 registered accounts; over 14 million records being in synchronized status, over 260,000 documents implemented. The total social costs saved when implementing public services are estimated at more than VND 13,000 billion/year, of which, the National Public Service Portal contributes over VND 6,700 billion/year. From only providing 08 public services at the time of launching (December 9, 2019), it has marked the milestone of 1,000 online public services at level 3 and 4 integrated on the National Public Service Portal. The 1,000th public service is to grant online license plate registration with the number of compliance of more than 4 million cars a year.

At the ceremony, the Prime Minister worked and directed directly with leaders of a number of localities and agencies at the bridge points: Binh Phuoc, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien - Hue and the National Center of operation, management, and disaster response, search, and rescue.
Speaking to direct at the launching ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc emphasized that 2020 is marked as the year of national digital transformation, in the process of moving towards the target of digital Government, Ministries and branches should pay attention to continue to innovate and deploy e-Government to become more and more perfect and modern, build a contingent of civil servants and officials who must be knowledgeable in technology, conscientious, devoted, some online public services need to be strongly promoted, etc.
